His Majesty offered thoughts on enhancing food security around the world, through the prism of re-globalization, and call for mending vulnerabilities that could lead to further widespread malnutrition, by working to ensure sustainable and accessible food supplies to all. The address, which coincided with World Food Day, recognized the hard work needed to secure global food supply chains while tackling the impact of COVID-19, climate change and other crises on food security.'
